Looking for Participants for a Project about Women in Watford
I'm one of thirteen photographers working on All Change, which is a collaborative project documenting the areas around the London Underground's final stops.
I've been assigned Watford (the last stop on one of the westbound branches of the Metropolitan line).
The project is in a very early stage, but after doing some research about what kind of pictures take in Watford in instagram, I've found that the majority are Harry Potter related and to do with fitness. I like Harry Potter, but fitness, body image, self-esteem etc. is more interesting to me as my personal work looks a lot at representation, self-esteem, anxiety, self-confidence, body image and hiding & revealing.
I want to photograph women who live in Watford for the project, so if you would be interested in being photographed please get in touch.
I'd like to have an initial meeting first so I can tell you more, you can ask me any questions and we get to know each other. It's important to me that you feel comfortable.
Or if you know someone who you think would be interested, please pass this along.
Thanks!
(& thanks to Owen Harvey for organising this project and letting me be part of it)
