I think I have addressed this many times, but public transport makes me feel awkward. Yesterday was the same as normal. It was getting close to evening rush hour so I was starting to feel extra awkwardness. A woman and her son got on the train and she is holding his bike. He is complaining about being super tired, I'm sure most of the people on the train could relate. They have to stand. I was leaning against the doors on one side. Should I have moved to let her lean it on the doors? I moved as far to one side as I could. I guess a normal person asks if they want to do that, but sometimes I get so awkward that just the idea of opening my mouth to speak is a bit much. So I left it and felt awkward and took this picture instead to immortalise the awkwardness. After a couple of stops though a couple of seats are available so they sit down and the woman puts the bike in front of them. The kid looks asleep after a few minutes.
