I was looking forward to going to a wedding in London for once (the last 3 have been in Portugal) and to hanging out with friends and celebrating. We are worried about being late so we run a bit. Then I nipped off to the bathroom and came back to the room of guests who are waiting to be taken to the room at the town hall. T makes a comment about all of the women checking each other out. Then a woman walks over to me. I think she is going to say that she likes my dress or something.
'Your dress is in your pants'.
I just feel so awkward. Was I flashing my pants or more? I don't know as I quickly just sorted my dress out. I rarely dress up nice and I have been wearing 3/4 trousers lately so I've got out of the habit of checking my skirts and dresses for such instances. I also rarely look at myself in the mirror when I'm not at home. Though whilst running I had tied my cardigan around my dress and was conscious of flashing my pants then. At the next 2 venues I constantly checked my dress.
What's worse than getting your dress caught in your pants in front of a room full of strangers? Getting your dress caught in your pants in front of a room full of strangers that you then have to spend 12 hours with.
I accidentally ate anchovies too. Whilst waiting for the wedding lunch we were given a tray of vegetables with a dip. I assumed the dip was houmous or something vegetable based. No, it was anchovy dip and I definitely don't feel like I have missed out in life by not eating them. I'm vegetarian.
And whilst taking the carrot picture the waiter walked behind me and saw me doing it. I felt awkward.
